North Lake High School Mission Statement 
North Lake High School will provide an education with a learning community tailored to meet individual student needs, support a sense of belonging, and development of a positive self-image. Each student acquires the ability, knowledge, and character to excel in meeting the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly changing world.
Vision Statement
"We recognize potential and cultivate success for the future - one student at a time." In order to secure our vision and prepare our students for success, North Lake High School, with the support of our parents, staff and community, will:

  • Implement a comprehensive adaptation of the Michigan Merit Curriculum to empower students and teachers to create a positive learning environment that values all individuals
  • Provide educational experiences and knowledge to prepare students for the world ahead
  • Improve student achievement
  • Develop positive relationships
  • Identify and take action when students are in need of academic assistance
  • Foster a sense of school pride
  • Create a safe and respectful environment
  • Adapt to the availability of new technology and increase the staff and students' ability to utilize it
  • Promote opportunities for staff and students to be involved in the decision-making process
  • Increase productive communication both internally and externally
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility
